About

I’m Rodrigo von Glehn, an engineer working in project management with over 20 years of experience on large and complex industrial projects, from hyperscale data centers to pharmaceutical facilities, petrochemical plants, energy projects, mining operations, and major infrastructure developments.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on multibillion-dollar programs across Europe, the Middle East, and South America, collaborating with multicultural teams and high-performance engineering and construction groups. I’ve been involved in every stage of a data center project, from early concept and pre-construction to commissioning, delivery, and handover.

I created this blog to share practical insights about Data Centers, the kind of knowledge that comes from real, hands-on project experience. Here, you’ll find everything from technical fundamentals to planning strategies, cost control, risk management, and lessons learned from major builds. My goal is to make these topics easier to understand and more useful for anyone interested in how data centers are truly designed and delivered.

I value clarity, transparency, and strong technical foundations. And I’m always learning, whether in fast-moving hyperscale environments or in highly regulated industries.

If you’d like to exchange ideas, talk about the industry, or explore collaboration opportunities, feel free to reach out.
